2008 Scotiabank Caribana Junior Carnival Parade

India Chariot Festival

The 36th annual India Chariot Festival part of the weekend long India Festival. It's a weekend of spiritual awakening, blissful singing, dancing, Vedic knowledge, mantra meditation, yoga and more. The 3,000 year old tradition of Ratha-Yatra had hundreds participating in the parade down Yonge Street with three colourful chariots amidst rhythmic beats of drums, cymbals, chanting and dancing. The chariots were pulled by the participants down Yonge St. from Bloor all the way down to the Lakeshore. A Macaw named 'Hari Bol' whose name translates to 'Jai Lord Krishna' also took part in the parade.
Virgin Suicides Brawl

The GTA Rollergirls hosted the Virgin Suicides Brawl roller derby at Ted Reeve Arema.  6 teams from Ontario battled it out for roller derby supremecy.  The Death Row Dames from Hamilton faced off against Thames Fatales from London in the final match of the evening.  The Dames went on to win 45 - 12, to take home the championship.

Nancy & Mike's Wedding

Some photographs from Nancy and Mike's wedding which took place at Fantasy Farm in Toronto.  Many thanks to both Nancy and Mike for having my wife and I document their wedding day, and for all the wonderful reviews we've had posted about us on Frugal Bride.

Nancy and Mike, we had an awesome time shooting your wedding, meeting you and your families (and friends), and we hope you love the images created on your day.

All the best to the both of you.

M&K

p.s.  Linda Gonzalez and her company "Your Wedding Sitter" did an OUTSTANDING job taking care of the little ones.  I have never seen such a well behaved bunch of kids at a wedding... ever.  If you plan on having any children as guests at your wedding, it would be foolish not to call her and inquire about her services..
