Alvin Law speaks at Durham College
February 05, 2007

The Durham College, Student Association invited motivational speaker Alvin Law to speak at the school, as part of Abilities Week on campus. Alvin was born without any arms, as his mother took the perscribed 'morning sickness' drug Thalidomide during pregnancy, causing the birth defect. He has gone through many hardships through-out his life, and has managed to overcome them with perseverance, charisma, and a sense of humour. Today he is married, a father, and speaks professionally to over 150,000 people a year.
