The 2009 Saul Hayes Human Rights Award
Prime Minister Stephen Harper received The Saul Hayes Human Rights Award from the Canadian Jewish Congress at the Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda Synagogue during the 29th Plenary Assembly. Harper is the first ever Prime Minister to receive the award. The CJC celebrated its 90th anniversary in conjunction with the event.

MUSE Gallery - Heart to ArtApril 19, 2007
22 artists took part in the Heart to Art pottery exhibit at the MUSE gallery in Toronto, with a portion of the sales from the exhibited peices going to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Many of the artists and guests came to the opening of the show.

NORTH YORK - Celebrating Don Mills Heritage: A Tribute to the Builders of Our Community @ Don Mills Library. Event held to acknowledge the city developers, builders, urban planners and the history of Don Mills. Don Mills was planned as a model town that would humanize urban life in an age of industry and automobile. Built between 1952 and 1963 on 835 hectares of land, between the west and east Don River valleys. It's design has been imitated in suburban developments across Canada.

Fireball 2006 - In Support of Sheena's Place

In support of the 10th anniversary of Sheena's Place, the 8th annual Fireball was held at the Capitol Event Theatre. Sheena's Place is a community-based centre offering hope and support services, free of charge, to people affected by eating disorders and related issues.
