MUSE Gallery - Heart to Art

22 artists took part in the Heart to Art pottery exhibit at the MUSE gallery in Toronto, with a portion of the sales from the exhibited peices going to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Many of the artists and guests came to the opening of the show.

Seneca Hill Public School - The Hobbit

Grade 4, 5, 6, students at Seneca Hill Public School put on a production of 'The Hobbit'. Grade 6 student Andy gets his makeup put on. He was playing the part of 'Smaug' the dragon.

Matt and Zac clean off graffiti from the skateboard ramps during the annual Uxbridge skatepark cleanup, where local youth were invited to the skatepark to do a general cleanup to prepare the park for opening.

30-Hour Quilting Marathon

The Quilters Cupboard participated in a national 30-hour-long quilting marathon. Over 3,000 quilt tiles were donated from across North America, of which the Quilters Cupboard used 45 to make two beautiful quilts. Over 130 participanting quilters from across Durham region and beyond helped The Quilters Cupboard raise over $20,000 for breast cancer support programs across the continent. Julie Bullen was one of the participating quilters who helped stitch the quilts together.
