A few dozen parents and their children came to Toronto's City Hall to participate in a stroller march, to raise awareness about the childcare crisis in Toronto and to object the city’s proposed new by-laws that would prohibit new residential daycares. Over 15,500 children in Toronto are waiting for subsidized daycare, while even more are waiting for non-subsidized daycare.
